7 tips on how to naturally cure baby constipation

When your baby doesn't want to poop, it can be a seriously frustrating situation. Nobody likes to watch their baby squeeze, grunt, cry and strain to pass their stool. If you are experiencing infant constipation, one likely reason might be that you've recently swtiched the baby from breastfed to formula. Babies bodies are often not use to the bulk that comes with the formula, and, as a result, have trouble passing the stool

Fortunately, curing infant constipation can be more simple to solve than you think. Here are 5 tips that will hopefully releave you and your baby:

1. Give your baby high fiber foods. Some good fiber foods include fruits, vegetables, fruit juices. Foods include pears, peaches, plums, apricots, peas and prunes.

2. One teaspoon of light Karo syrup in 4 ounces of water will often get things back on track

3. Fluid intake - keep your baby hydrated and feed her a glass of water or fruit juice during the morning and afternoon playtime.

4. Try and eliminate milk and cheese for a few days until pooping becomes regular again. They both tend to be constipating.

5. No cereal! Cereal, especially combined with milk, can cause constipation rather than solve it.

6. Give your baby a warm bath.

7. While lying on his back, cycle your infant's legs - this should help to loosen the stool.
